Hi, I really love this product! I just received exactly the same message that they can't fulfill my order!!???? I own 8 Lionel teachs dating from 1946 to existing -- this "Scout" is among the weaker links in an otherwise nice line of educates. I offered it for my grandson as his first O gauge -- it might be his remaining Lionel.
I'm not positive who is in cost at Lionel (try and to find out who in level of fact owns them or the place they are located), but they want to give a boost to their engineering and quality keep an eye on. The 3 of the four most latest buys have not been as so much as the quality of Williams or MTH. From now on I'll purchase different models of O gauge engines or sets first.
Oh, by way of the best possible way, Lionel by no implys finished the sequel to their DVD movie, "Lionelville Destination: Adventure" -- it leaves you hangin' with no decision to the story (apologies to my grandkids).

We purchase this set for our son's birthday. He has a couple of different ready to run units and this one was once on sale, so we purchased it. We have had nothing however problems with it. The first time we ran it, it went extraordinarily slow with a grinding noise. We took it to be mounted. When we acquired residence it flew off the tracks going sluggishly around nooks. We went back and had it mounted a second time. Then it began grinding and sparking. Yep, had it fastened again. On prime of the entire lot else, the equipments are on the outside making it noisy. My son would not use this teach vey ceaselessly as he is afraid it is going to spoil. Poor quality and would avoid the 2-4-2 fashion again. Stay clear...

Reading the other assessments I would have stayed faraway from this however I took advise from the guy at my local pastime store & it works nice. I actually have No concerns at all since the train, observes, smoke, whistle & regulates all labored. I dont understand if the opposite overviews acquired defective devices or something. I truly have handiest had it for 2 weeks but me & my son run this on a typical basis.
