The high quality of this teach set is outstanding. Very few factors match the expectations of my childhood memories however this set did just that. I had it beneath the Christmas tree and it's going to be there for future 12 monthss.

My wife and I truly have been trying to get a teach set to give a boost to our usual Christmas ornaments for several yrs now. We wanted a "real" train set that ran off of home current (not batteries) and was sufficiently big to type a loop around our Christmas tree. The Lionel starter set - "The Pennsylvania Flyer" is strictly what we wanted. The "O Gauge" is a large scale edition teach, with each and every automobile being 10"-12" in size. I judge the standard of the set to be very excessive and I consider it's going to last many years with proper automobilee. The monitor (Lionel's FastTrack) used to be easily assembled. Hooking up and operating the educate was easy and straight ahead. The transformer equipped with the set is greater than enough to power the engine and automotives. The educate sounds nice and runs like a champ.

Purchased this little set for my 3 yr outdated grandson.
Its price the cost just to peer hellos little eye's remove darkness from when it comes across the bend.We might be adding to it one day.
