This high nose EMD GP-50 is superb if you need an less expensive GP-50 in your livery, err assortment. This is a Bachmann usual sequence loco and the fee mirrors that. It has enough aesthetic details for most like hand rails, working lights, good paint scheme, mock air horn, and mock bell. But, it is moderately crude compared to my Athearn locos that value twice as much. The highway number 6551 does not replicate the actual deal. I sold this basically for my daughter to admire on her educate set as an alternative of letting her play with the complex four-8-4 steam loco the set came with, as a minimum now not except she's older. For critical variationers, this might now not be for you. For these looking for a durable variation educate loco with just right power/tractive effort, good photos in black, this is very nice. It is all-wheel pressure, ie all four axles are pushed. I even have it pulling a nine car load without a downside. The high nostril virtually rings a bell in my memory of a SD-9, except for with four axles which makes it extra like a GP-9, lol.

This product was marketed as used - however everything about it used to be like model new. It looks like brand new and runs completely. I offered it for my grnadson's educate set, and would buy extra from this vendor.
